Prepping Your Memories Before Delivery
We know our clients have a lot of different memories they may need preserved. We also know that the idea of bringing in boxes and boxes of memories can sound daunting, especially when you consider how they’re going to be organized when your final product is delivered. Just Digitize makes the entire scanning process seamless and stress free, whether you need some assistance with image organization or you want us to follow your lead.
If you have loads of photos spanning across the years and don't feel like organizing it all, let us know. We can provide you with a system to not only scan those images, but make them easy to find by organizing them for you. In addition, to our regular scanning services, Just Digitize provides album removal. As well, as digital organizing with a system we create, after we see your images. We do charge a little bit extra for album removal, but they make the process 10x easier for you, the client. The good news is we can go through a lot of albums within 1 hour of work.
We know using our organizing system might not be for everyone. If you love color coding, making lists and scheduling all the things. The odds are, you probably already have your photos generally organized. If you just need a little bit more assistance, you can use this as a guide!
Before bringing your images to us, it would be amazing if they were removed from their albums if possible, in labeled bags or boxes according to how you want your files named. For example, if you have a box full of photos labeled "camping trip 1996" you can expect all of those files to be named "Camping Trip 1996” or "Camping Trip 19961”, "Camping Trip 19962”, etc). We follow your lead to ensure you have a clear organization to your newly digitized images. Files are typically labeled something like: slide_scans_number. Digital labeling can always be adjusted after the scans.
